the cowboy
we wanted to express our sincere gratitude to the family models, who volunteered for the wallflower friends retreat. most families drove 2-3 hours to get to us at the 29 palms inn and we're so appreciative of their time. and everyone was so very kind and patient with us and our teaching, while photographing.
we truly cannot thank you enough!!
each family is receiving complimentary 5x7 prints of our edited photographs, as a thank you gift from us. we hope they love them!
over the next four days, we'll be sharing some of our favorite photos of our family models -- starting today, with the wonderful little guy we like to call the cowboy.

a little about this family...they are local to twentynine palms. leah met them when she stayed at the oasis last november. they were gracious enough to come out on the thursday night before the retreat to help us test light and understand what we had to work with.
his daddy is stationed at the marine corps air ground combat center, in twentynine palms, but currently serving in afghanistan. they are on their fourth month without him...with seven months still to go! we are so happy to be able to provide them with prints to send to daddy in afghanistan--hopefully it will help get him through the remainder of his deployment...until he returns safely home. xo
