what makes your heart sing?

we are both firm believers in giving back and with this workshop, we wanted to give back right from the start. and so the giving begins with you!  we knew we wanted to give a wallflower friends retreat seat with this scholarship but once the discussions began, we decided to spread the $2000 scholarship amongst three winners.  so, we will be awarding the following scholarships for the fall wallflower friends retreat:  

1st place:    $1000 scholarship
2nd place:   $600 scholarship
3rd place:    $400 scholarship 

so how do you submit for the scholarship? 

it's simple! go to the wallflower friends scholarship page and write a paragraph (500 words or less) on what makes your heart sing and why you feel you deserve the scholarship. the deadline is may 31st. we have a panel of four awesome and inspirational judges --

stephanie beaty, jonathan canlas, peta mazey and tara whitney who will be reading the submissions and deciding our three scholarship winners. the judges will be looking for submissions that reflect concepts such as hard work, passion, desire and the motivation to learn and grow. please note that a financial need is not required to win.   

we will be announcing the three winning entries on june 15th on our blog.

winners must register for fall retreat & pay a $500 deposit no later than june 20th
previous retreat attendees are not eligible to apply for scholarship
if already registered for fall wallflower friends retreat, scholarship will be deducted from balance due
