we thought we'd share a bit about us, as one of the first questions we usually get asked is how did you two meet?
we actually met through flickr. i dream of one day owning an eichler home. leah lives in an eichler. and it was through leah's sharing images of her home on flickr, that we met. at the time, i lived in san diego. leah lives in orange. conversations began about her house and within a month of sharing, leah invited my family to her house for dinner. the sharing continued and it wasn't long before we were talking daily. today, we probably talk five to ten times a day.
our friendship just naturally evolved. we connected and never felt threatened by one another. we have always openly and honestly shared -- about everything.
it's been amazing to shoot together and openly discuss such things as editing, pricing, marketing, etc. we basically share everything business. we have always believed two heads are better than one, when it comes to brainstorming and implementing.
we're thankful for one another and never take the other for granted. we're so grateful that our friendship has remained strong through the years and the distance. we can only hope that each and every one of you has that special friend (or two or three) that you can share this amazing journey with.

I am just now realizing the importance of this type of friendship. I had a dear friend whom I was able to share things with openly and we were in touch frequently regarding clients, pricing, creative process and then some. I was her mentor for many years then she was mine once I got distracted by kids. She was taken from us in a tragic float plane crash off of Victoria, BC last year and I miss her more every day.
Cherish your friendships now and be thankful they have the time to grow. I have felt alone since this has happened and have had a difficult time finding someone who I could connect with at this level personally and professionally. I am so excited to finally be reaching out to others in the business whom I can connect with!!
