first, we wanted to thank everyone who participated in our friendship contest. all 129 photographs entered were incredible -- each sharing a unique vision on how one would define friendship through a photograph. and it was a really tough decision!! we decided to award a first, second and third place along with two honorable mentions.

I wish that you could feel how humbled I am that you chose my photograph for the FRIENDSHIP contest. Thank you so much. It is such an honor to be selected from the entries - they were all so beautiful!! I cannot WAIT to use my new lens - and I'll def. use it with the family whose father donated a kidney ; I am doing an in-kind session with them this Spring once the weather is warm!!
